# Routines on your phone

See, create, run, pause and edit your automations from Machine Mobile's Routines tab.

The **Routines** tab shows every scheduled job across all your bots: daily
briefings, weekly checks, one-off reminders.

## What's on the screen

- **Scheduled routines** | **Run logs** at the top switches between your
  routines and what they did.
- **List** | **Calendar** switches the view.
- **All bots** filters to one bot.
- Each routine card shows its name, bot, schedule, next run, and **Latest:**
  how its last run went. **Active** or **Paused** is at the top right.

## Create a routine

1. Tap **New**, then **Scheduled task** (*"Ask a bot to do something
   later."*).
2. **Add title**, **Assign a bot**, and say **What should the bot do?**
3. Tap **Save**, or **More options** for the full editor (repeat, time zone,
   which thread results go to).

## Run, pause, edit

Tap a routine to open it:

| Button | Does |
|---|---|
| **Run now** | Runs it straight away. |
| **Open thread** | Opens the thread the results go to. |
| **Run logs** | Every run, with how it went. |
| **Stop run** | Stops a run in progress. |
| **Edit** | Change it. |
| **Pause routine** / **Resume routine** | Stops or restarts the schedule. |
| **Delete** | Removes it. |

Routines run on Machine's cloud, so they run even when your phone and
