Connectors, tasks, and your project
Use the apps you connected in Machine from Machine Code, turn issues into tasks, and manage your Machine project's secrets, models, and agents.
Connectors
Every app you connected to your Machine project, such as GitHub, Linear, Notion, Slack, or Gmail, is available to agents in Machine Code too. Ask in plain words:
Read the Linear issue ENG-412 and implement what it asks.
When you're done, post a summary in the #releases Slack channel.
Click Connectors in the sidebar to see what's connected and to connect more. The chat's details rail lists the connectors the agent can use, and connector calls show as cards in the chat.
Your Machine key never reaches the agent. Machine Code makes the connector calls for it.
Tasks from issues
Click Tasks in the sidebar to see issues from GitHub, Linear, or Jira, through the connectors you set up. Pick one and start a task from it: the agent gets the issue as its brief. The board shows your tasks by status.
Your Machine project
Machine Code works in one Machine project at a time. Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar:
| Item | What it opens |
|---|---|
| Project settings | The project's members, its details, and its Machine parts. |
| Models & credits | The models the project can use, and your credits. |
| Secrets | The project's secrets. You can add and replace them, but not read them back. |
| Agents & skills | The project's agents and skills. |
| Switch project | Work in a different Machine project. |
| Sign out | Sign out of Machine on this computer. |
These are the same settings as on the Machine web app. A change here shows up there, and the other way round.
