Marketplace
Browse skills and project templates, add one to a bot or start a new bot from it, and switch on more marketplaces.
The Marketplace has skills and project templates your bots can add to themselves. A skill teaches a bot how to do a type of task. A project template sets a bot up for a whole job, sometimes with its own automations.
Open the Marketplace
At the bottom of the sidebar, open Tools → Marketplace.
Find something

- Type in Search skills and projects.
- Use the All marketplaces filter to see items from one marketplace.
- Click the refresh button to update the list.
Click an item to see what it includes:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Agents | The agents it sets up. |
| Automations | Any scheduled jobs that come with it. |
| Also installs | Other items it brings along. |
| Files | The files it adds. |
| Readme | A description of what it does and how to use it. |
The item also lists what it needs to work: a Secret (like an API key), a Connector (a connected app), or a Tool.
Add an item to a bot
Choose Add to bot
On the item, click Add to bot.
Pick a bot
Choose one of your bots, or + New bot to start a new bot from this item.
Let the bot install it
Machine opens a new thread in which the bot sets the item up. Follow along there, and answer any questions it asks.
Provide what it needs
If the item needs a secret or a connected app, add it:
- secrets in Bot settings → Secrets (see Secrets and webhooks),
- apps in Tools → Connected apps (see Connected apps).
More marketplaces
Under More marketplaces, you can switch on extra public catalogs. Their items then appear in the Marketplace for everyone on your Machine account.
